Opening of Exceed Central Prosthetics & Orthotics Clinic (P&O CLINIC) at Central Hospital

Central Hospital, in partnership with Exceed Worldwide, proudly announces the opening of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Clinic. The P&O clinic, located on the 2nd floor of the Outpatient Department (OPD) inside Central Hospital, marks a significant achievement in providing comprehensive mobility and rehabilitation services to patients in Cambodia. The opening ceremony feature a ribbon-cutting event attended by H.E Ngov Kang, Secretary of Ministry of Health, Connor Floyd, Second Secretary Development Cooperation, Australia Embassy, Ms. Sissary Keng Director of Exceed Worldwide and the team, diverse esteemed guests, including medical professionals from various specializations, health insurance companies in Cambodia, and other key partners.

Collaboration for Improved Care

On this occasion, the Donor from Australia Aid Connor Floyd, the Second Secretary for Development Cooperation at the Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh, stressed the significance of involving the private sector in broadening essential health services for all Cambodians. He noted the ongoing changes and reforms in Cambodia’s physical rehabilitation sector to bring it in line with modern international standards. Addressing such extensive structural reforms requires effective government leadership and meaningful collaboration with civil society and the private sector. Floyd also expressed pride in the Australian government’s endorsement of the hospital unit project, citing it as a successful result of collaboration.
